"I have been privileged to be part of the mentorship program with Tina. I was first so excited to join her as she has been such an inspiration as an artist and now I can also say she is an excellent teacher. I found Tina really easy to understand as she takes us through her process of work and is patient to answer each of our questions to her best. I also noticed how calm and joyful she is through the difficult process of working out a painting. She has modeled to me what I need, to stay positive and creative, while solving problems and above all being gentle with myself, which I lacked for a long time and made my process somewhat painful. So I have learnt to play more, to enjoy more instead of being hard on myself and the results. This was very beautiful for me to watch.
Tina makes painting easier by the way she teaches and models doing her work and my technique level definitely went up after a few months of the mentorship. There is a great variety of technical tips using photoshop, or different ways to tackle a painting that really helps you feel more versatile as there is not just one way to paint. I really recommend Tina's mentorship program!
Tina, thank you so much for your wisdom, fun and kind heart as a teacher and artist!}

Your methods are new to me and I was a little nervous at times as to how well I would be able to work and accomplish the assignments. Your demos are very helpful and it was great to be ale to refer to your painting when I needed to refresh my memory. I'm looking forward to incorporating things I've learned into the work I'm doing now and becoming a better artist and teacher. I wish you well . I'm so happy to have been able to know you , to learn and to work with you in the future.”

"I can't put a price on the experience of working with Tina. Every time we meet I come away empowered both emotionally and practically. She is as passionate about teaching as she is about painting and she is the rare master of both. I expect that the things I have learned and will continue to learn from her will be a defining catalyst in my art career and a treasure of wisdom in my life generally. She is empathy, integrity, brilliance and enthusiasm. If you are lucky enough to work with her, take the opportunity seriously and you will be amazed at where she can guide you."
- Crystal Desapin, Colorado
“I was honored to take part in Tina’s Creative Mentorship Group. Tina is a gifted artist, mentor, and teacher. What I learned from this mentorship was to be an artist with my own voice; not as student. I learned what inspires me and “why”. I also learned what my own emotional triggers are in creating a painting. Her teaching is extremely thorough and well organized. I highly recommend Tina’s mentorship. Tina, thank you for being so awesome!”

"I met Tina at a class she offered through the Scottsdale Art School in March 2021. Not only is Tina an accomplished and gifted artist but she is a wonderful teacher. I felt that I had hit the jackpot! I didn’t want that class to end so I signed up for her year-long Fundamentals Membership group. She has a well-designed, easy-to-understand curriculum that she presents to our group with so much passion and enthusiasm. It is contagious.
Tina loves teaching and is devoted to giving back to others the same support that she received when she was a student. Her energy is seemingly endless as she provides extra educational videos, pop quizzes, and welcomes questions anytime. This mentorship has given my art journey the direction and support it desperately needed."

"Being a student under your mentorship, since March 2020, has reinforced my desire to continue painting and strengthened my confidence in my ability to ultimately produce quality work. I have come to realize that prior to joining your Group, I was "mechanically" painting without understanding the "Why?" Exploring the fundamentals of painting with you, both through instruction and critique, has made the art form sensible to me and that appeals to my particular learning style. As importantly, my participation in the Mentorship Group has brought me joy, peace, and hope during these past months as our world searches for its sense. "
